What Enrico Barkusky says
„A few seconds turned into two minutes of active dwell time.“
I spent a long time trying to build my own website. It takes an incredible amount of time because you often don't know exactly where to start. The result is usually unsatisfactory and hardly anyone visits the site.
My previous website had no clear direction. It wasn't focused on the core of our service, so interested parties didn't immediately realize what they could find with us. The structure needed improvement and the site did not clearly show the added value it offers to the customer.
For us, the impression we made online was important from the start. When interested parties search for us, they should find a homepage that leaves no questions unanswered and gets straight to the point. Previously, customers only spent a few seconds on our website. Now they are active on our site for an average of two minutes.
The wow moment for me was when I saw the first draft and thought, this is it. Another wow moment was of course the finished website.
I would recommend the collaboration to all SMEs. Many have no website or only an unprofessionally cobbled together website that would likely make a prospective customer immediately switch to the competition. Maybe the company does a good job and has a great service. You only lose if it is not presented well to interested parties.
